Here is a little more information on the Hyperbaric Healing Institute of Kansas City and how we found out about it.
We Got a Gift Certificate!
My mom is friend's with this amazing magazine on Facebook called Parenting Children with Special Needs (check them out here). They posted a few months ago that the next person to call and make a donation gets a gift certificate to the Hyperbaric Healing Institute for oxygen treatments. So my Mom called and made a donation and received a $2500 gift certificate! Amazing right? Well that only covers half of the treatment I would need. They like to do 40 treatments and that only covers 20. My Mom has been reading up on the benefits and my doctor that does my botox injections already sign a script for us. He used to work there and told my Mom to absolutely do it! The only problem is that have to have the money upfront for all 40 treatments. That's where you come in :)
What You Can Do To Help
Like I said we are in need of at least another $2500 to help reach my 40 treatments of hyperbaric oxygen. These treatments could help me sit, crawl, stand and walk. They could be a great shot at me having a more "normal" life. It would be truly amazing if I could get these treatments just to see if they make a difference at all.
